Reverberation time over the frequency spectrum
The frequency response of the optimum reverberation times for speech should be as linear as possible. In rooms for musical performances, an increase in reverberation time at low frequencies (below 250 Hz) is desirable. It compensates for the lower sensitivity of the auditory system at low frequencies and gives "warmth" to the sound.
